What is Effortless Data Capture?

Get quick assistance, share feedback, or report issues directly from within cortx to keep your experience smooth and productive.

How to Access

Access the Feedback Panel from the Home screen by clicking the Feedback icon (bottom-left). A modal will appear with four options:

Report an Issue

Use this to log any bugs or problems faced within the application.

  • Steps:
    1. Click Report an Issue
    2. Add a description
    3. Set priority (High/Medium/Low)
    4. (Optional) Attach screenshots/files
    5. Click Report to submit

To track submitted issues, click View Bug History.

Submit General Feedback

Use this to share your thoughts or suggestions about your experience on cortx.

  • Steps:
    1. Click General Feedback
    2. Select a star rating (1–5)
    3. Add comments
    4. (Optional) Attach files
    5. Click Send Feedback

Raise a Support Request

Use this if you’re facing issues executing a feature or need help with functionality.

  • Steps:
    1. Click Support Request
    2. Describe the issue
    3. Set priority
    4. (Optional) Attach files
    5. Click Report to raise a ticket

Track All My Requests

View all submitted items under:

  • Issues
  • Support Requests
  • Feedback

Each item is listed on the left with details shown on the right.
