What are Resources ?
Resources are files, documents, or external links stored in cortx Knowledge Hub to support your projects. These can be attached to conversations, agents, or workflows for contextual execution.
How It Helps
- Centralizes information so teams can easily access relevant files without switching tools.
- Maintains context by linking resources directly to ongoing conversations, agents, or workflows.
- Improves execution accuracy by ensuring agents have the right inputs at the right time.
How to Upload & Use Resources
Step 1: Navigate to the Resources in the Left Navigation Menu

- A file can be imported into cortx using:
- Import file button on the top right corner within Resources
- Uploaded directly in the conversational workspace using the + icon
- Drag and drop into the chat area
- External integration
- Supported file types include: PDF, Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet, CSV Files, Text Files (.txt), Markdown Files (.md), Images (.jpg, .png, .gif), Videos (.mp4, .mov), Audio Files (.mp3, .wav), HTML Files, Email Transcripts, Call Transcripts, and URLs.
